08 Jul 2020
Facilitator: Avnish Chauhan, Mobileum
Network attacks are on the rise and becoming more sophisticated. They are perpetrated using more than one protocol, often at the same time. This session aims to provide a brief understanding on how to detect and stop malicious or unwanted voice traffic whilst protecting the network and meeting regulatory obligations.
Everyone wants their voice to be heard. And what better than if it makes the sound of money - cha-ching! The reality is that today fraudsters and scammers are making a good living from perpetrating voice fraud and attacks on unsuspecting users. From this session, you can learn about various voice fraud schemes such as Robocalling, Wangiri, IRSF, and Caller ID Spoofing, and how to effectively block those calls from affecting your subscribers.
