2026 Inductees announced at the Summer International Educational Event in Stockholm, Sweden
and the Fall Educational Event in Saint Paul, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Congratulating the 2026 CFCA Hall of Fame Inductees
The individuals listed represent some of the mentors, influencers, industry leaders, and domain experts who have significantly contributed to and supported the fight against telecom fraud.
Their portraits will forever hang in the CFCA Hall of Fame and will be role models and inspirations for others.

Significant Contribution to the Fraud Prevention Industry
Bio
Andy dedicated over 42 years to policing and police staff service before retiring in 2020. Throughout his long and distinguished police career, Andy held a variety of specialist roles.
In 2000, he was appointed to lead the Telecommunications Intelligence Unit at New Scotland Yard, where he supported numerous high-profile investigations both in the UK and internationally.
In 2007, Andy was selected to head the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) DCG Futures Group, a strategic body focused on researching the risks and opportunities associated with emerging communications products and services. Following his retirement from operational policing Andy was awarded Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to Law and Order in the Queens New Years Honours 2020. Andy spent 12½ years as a member of police staff working on behalf of the National Police Chiefs’ Council with Home Office OSCT (Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism). His latter role involved researching new and emerging digital technology and, during this period, he designed and introduced the annual international conference and training programme delivered for the law enforcement community, stakeholders, and the industry. Andy remained actively engaged with law enforcement, continuing to consult and advise on matters related to telecommunications and crime. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of TUFF, bringing his extensive experience and insight to the forefront of industry efforts to combat telecoms-enabled fraud and crime.

Robert Gerstmann is Chief Evangelist and Co-Founder of Sinch, a global leader in cloud communications and customer engagement solutions. Since co-founding the company in 2008, Robert has played a key role in shaping Sinch’s vision, growth strategy, and product direction as the company evolved into one of the world’s leading CPaaS providers.
With more than twenty years of experience in enterprise mobile communications, Robert works closely with customers, partners, and industry organizations worldwide to help businesses deliver seamless, scalable, and innovative communication experiences across messaging, voice, email, and emerging digital channels. Prior to founding Sinch, Robert held commercial leadership positions at Mblox and Digital River, where he focused on global mobile messaging and digital commerce. He is widely recognized as a thought leader in business messaging, RCS, AI-driven communications, and the future of customer engagement. Robert founded CLX Communications, better known as CLX, in 2008 with Johan Hedberg, Kristian Männik, Henrik Sandell, Björn Zethraeus and Kjell Arvidsson. CLX went on to acquire and integrate numerous allied businesses including Mblox, Symsoft and Vehicle. They purchased Sinch in 2016 and subsequently rebranded their entire business as Sinch in 2019. Robert holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping Institute of Technology. Robert is Chairman of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF)
