CFCA Chosen Charities in 2026

CFCA are continuing undertaking charitable endeavours as part of their initiative to incorporate education with philanthropy. in 2026 CFCA will continue to support local charities at educational events that support children, teenagers, young adults and their mothers.

CFCA have donated a total of $7,155 to deserving charities in 2026.

The Forge of the Future
Mentoring Program for Girls – Opening new opportunities for girls who want to participate in a long-term mentoring program.

Working with schools and girls aged 16 – 17. Each girl getting her own mentor, meeting regularly at least once a month.

The mentor group consists of senior women with extensive professional and leadership experience who want to give back to society. The mentors work on a voluntary basis and cover their own costs.

Every month, visits are organized to different workplaces and institutions. These take place in groups, jointly for all mentees and mentors.

Crittenton

Crittenton was established by Charlotte civic religious leaders in 1903 after an article was published detailing the suicide of a single, pregnant 16-year-old. A group of concerned citizens joined forces to provide a place of safety and understanding, rather than condemnation and shame for single, pregnant women.

Over its 122-year history, Crittenton has helped more than 45,000 young mothers, teens and children in the Charlotte area create better lives for themselves and their families.

Crittenton’s mission is to empower women and children through education, health, residential care, and supportive services. Crittenton’s envision ending the generational cycle of poverty and trauma, creating better tomorrows.

CASA Middlesex County

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Middlesex County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2006, that is dedicated to advocate for children who have been abused or neglected and are living in out-of-home placements. To accomplish this mission, CASA of Middlesex County recruits and trains volunteers to advise the courts and to advocate for the children’s best interests.
Last year in Middlesex County about 300 children spent time in foster care. CASA of Middlesex County was able to provide advocacy for 190 of these children as a result of the work of 106 volunteer advocates.

Pink Bubble Foundation

As part of our international education event held in Prague, Czech Republic, attendees supported this amazing charity.

Pink Bubble Foundation supports young cancer patients across the Czech Republic to better cope with their demanding diagnosis. Meeting friends with the same experience and keeping a positive mindset is essential for most young fighters.
Pink Bubble does everything possible to help them fulfill their dreams.

Southern Arizona Book Heroes
As part of our Spring Educational Event in Tucson, Arizona, CFCA undertook a collection for this great charity.

The mission of Southern Arizona Book Heroes is to bring awareness to mental health in children, share about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s) to the community through literacy and volunteer opportunities, influencing the course of history for generations to come.
